Former female inmates reclaim their lives

Women who are convicted of crime find it more difficult to get back into their communities after serving their sentences than men.

This is because of the societal belief that it is worse for a woman to commit crime than it is for a man.

As a result, once a woman is accused or convicted of crime she is an outcast for life.
