Bongiwe Moyo is a 24-year-old volunteer at Getjenge Radio in Plumtree. She has been doing voluntary work for the station since October 2014. She holds a Bachelor Honours Degree in Language and Communication with Lupane State University.
Bongiwe is passionate about information dissemination and believes if ordinary citizens attain adequate and appropriate information they can play a big role in individual, community and national development.
She believes if communities are to tell stories of their cultures and environment it will give them room to be active citizens.
