Ten alumni from the MCZ trainings of 2013 received a follow up training for a refreshment of skills learnt in the first phase of the project.
The group was drawn from the 42 participants who were trained in 2013. Dedication to the project was part of the criteria used to select the group.
After the first training, the 10 participants produced commendable stories that have been published on various platforms. Some where able to secure jobs and training opportunities as a result of the skills learnt during the 1st phase of the Mobile Community Zimbabwe project.
“I was invited to conduct multimedia training through the use of mobile phones in Mozambique at a regional workshop,” said Joseph Munda one of the alumni members.
