Despite the enactment of a National Gender Policy, cases of gender inequality are still noticeable in Zimbabwe.

Issues of child marriages, the glass ceiling and discrimination of women are still rampant in Zimbabwe.

It is also sad to note that women are still victims of gender based violence, but due to lack of information and fear of further victimization they fail to report such issues, hence hindering the gender equality goal.
