Gweru – Bata workers have downed their tools in the past two weeks demanding an upward review of their housing and transport allowances.

Workers want housing allowances reviewed from $22 to $100 and transport allowance from $11 to $30.

The workers have applied to the Labour Ministry to undertake a collective job action if the management do not accede to its demands. Audio Story by Lovemore Zigara for MCZ.
