Workers Day has become like any other day for the Zimbabwean worker. Many workers only have fading memories of how labor day was for them in the past years. Events in the past 15 years have seen companies closing and thousands of workers losing jobs. It is estimated that more than 85% of Zimbabwe’s population is not formally employment. Many are surviving through vending.
