Sydney is a  volunteer at Kumakomo Community Radio Station based in Mutare Zimbabwe.

He has worked as a newsletter editor for the Voices of Concerned Youth Newsletter for the City Council Teen HIV prevention program from 2001 -2005.

Sydney runs a small business in video filming, music recording studio, sound system hire as well as print and photojournalism.
